Bridge Design Engineer (Entry thru Mid-Level), Buffalo, NY

Bergmann is seeking to add full time Design Engineers in our recently remodeled Buffalo Office to participate in the design of highway, rail and pedestrian bridge projects for public and private sector clients from scoping through construction phases. Bergmann offers aspiring engineers the opportunity to work on a very diverse range of structural projects, often complex in nature for a wide spectrum of clients. The work setting is highly collaborative with structured mentoring from a large team of seasoned engineers. The ideal candidate would have the following minimum qualifications:

• BS in structural engineer

• EIT certification

• 0-7 years of experience

• Ability to work in a professional team environment

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Knowledge of NYSDOT, AASHTO and AREMA design codes a plus
